The following are a general definition of FISD meeting types:
- General Meeting: held quarterly to update members on the status of FISD activities and also include reports from member companies and constituency group meetings. Networking Reception follows the meeting.
Meetings are offered to members at no-charge.
- Conference: one day fee-based meeting held periodically to address specific issues.
- Issue Brief: 90 minute program for issue based discussion followed by a networking reception.
- World Financial Information Conference (WFIC): 2.5 day program held biennially for users, vendors and exchanges.
