Andrew AllwrightAndrew Allwright

Andrew Allwright joined Reuters in March 2005 to shape the information vendor's response to the new European MiFiD (Directive on Markets in Financial Instruments) regulation. In this role he has represented Reuters externally in discussions about MiFID implementation with clients, regulators and industry associations. Within Reuters Andrew has defined the market requirements that will be driven by MiFID and helped to shape the solutions to be delivered to meet these. As Head of Marketing for Exchange Traded Instruments, Andrew is now responsible for promoting Reuters response to MiFID as well as a number of other key initiatives. He was previously a Director within CSFB's London-based Equity COO team. During his time at CSFB Andrew was the representative on the LIBA Securities Trading Committee dealing with market infrastructure, competition and regulatory initiatives.

Galaad Baudry is in Thomson Financial's Global Data Acquisition team. He represents Thomson Financial on local industry associations and forums in France. Galaad joined Thomson Financial in 2001 and holds a dual degree in International Business and Purchasing. David Berry
Global Head of Market Data, Barclays Capital

In 2006, David Berry joined Barclays Capital, the Investment Banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. He is Global Head of Market Data. From 2001 to 2006 he worked for SGCIB, the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of Société Générale Group. He first worked as Head of Supplier Management for Market Data Services and held a number of managerial positions within SGCIB's Information Technology department. He was appointed Global Head of Market Data Commercial in 2004. From 1993 to 2001, David worked for Morgan Stanley, first in the Fixed Income, Commodities and Foreign Exchange department, where he held Sales and Trading posts in Frankfurt and Paris. Later, he worked in their Market Data and Technology department in London. He is Vice-President of COSSIOM in charge of relations with IPUG, Member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Thomson SIG at IPUG. A French national, David was educated in Germany where he holds a "Diplomkaufman." He also earned a "Diplome des Grandes Ecoles" degree in Paris. Married with three children, David is a keen rugby and ice-hockey player.

Andrew Delaney is president & editor-in-chief of A-Team Group. He is based in London and New York, has been involved in financial markets IT since 1987, specializing in market data, reference data, electronic trading and investment applications. Andrew joined A-Team in 2002 to spearhead the company's publishing activities and contribute to its research and consulting operations. A-Team has subsequently launched four leading monthly market intelligence briefings, with a fifth on the way. Before joining A-Team, Andrew spent three years launching a financial information distribution platform aimed at the off-trading-floor marketplace. Prior to that he spent 11 years at Waters Information Services in a variety of senior roles, including editor-in-chief, senior vice president of global sales, and general manager of North American operations. He also spent time with Banking Technology magazine in London and The Wall Street Journal in Brussels


Tony de Lucovich

Tony de Lucovich is a veteran of almost 3 decades in the financial data services business. With over 20 years service at IP Sharp and Reuters and now currently at TAP Solutions, Tony provides deep expertise in corporate actions, with deep knowledge across multiple data sources. At TAP he is currently engaged in making corporate actions data available as part of a consolidated, cross asset and multi data source view of the capital markets.


Richard GissingRichard Gissing

Richard Gissing is the founder & CTO of Gissing Software, based in their London office. He has over 20 years' experience of technology for the financial markets, with particular emphasis on real-time market data contribution and trading gateways. In 1991 he founded Gissing Consulting to develop and supply real-time market data software solutions to the financial markets in the UK and Europe. The company, now called Gissing Software, has grown to become the leading supplier of real-time market data contribution systems to the major investment banks around the globe, with offices in London and New York. Gissing Software has been an active participant in the MiFID Joint Working Group (JWG) since it began, and Richard is a member of the FISD MiFID Committee, which governs the activities of the JWG Real Time Market Data Subject Group, in which he is actively involved.


Martijn GrootMartijn Groot

Martijn Groot is Head of Product Management of Asset Control where he oversees product direction and product quality. Before Asset Control, Mr Groot worked at ABN AMRO Amsterdam where he held a variety of positions within technology and risk management. Mr Groot holds an MBA from Insead, a MSc in mathematics from the Free University, Amsterdam and is a certified Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Karl Landolt is Director of the Data Division of Telekurs Financial Ltd., Switzerland. In this role, Mr Landolt is responsible for the full range of activities involved in sourcing and delivering Telekurs' global pricing, corporate action and reference data services. Mr. Landolt is also a member of Telekurs' Executive Committee. Karl Landolt has advocated the launch of the ANNA Service Bureau and has been since the start a Member of the ASB Advisory Board. Before joining Telekurs Financial, Mr. Landolt held several management positions at international banks, and was the Managing Director for GE Information Services (Switzerland).

Simon Leighton-Porter joined Citigroup's Global Custody sales and account management team in 1998. In 2000 he transferred to the equities division of Citigroup Global Markets Limited where, as a Vice President within the global middle office, he was responsible for a number of STP initiatives designed to improve the firm's cross-border securities processing. He still works part-time for Citigroup and is also a director of the software company Rapid Addition. He serves on a number of industry committees and is co-chairman of the JWG Standard Protocols subject group within the MiFID Joint Working Group. He is also a member of the FIX Global Technical Committee and the FIX Business Practices Committee. Prior to his current role, Simon worked mainly in the exchange traded derivatives field. Before this, he spent 16 years as an officer in the Royal Air Force.

Chris is an international marketing manager who has worked for over 30 years in the financial technology industry. His previous jobs have included being secretary-general of the European Association of Securities Dealers in Brussels, Head of Exchange Products at Deutsche Boerse in Frankfurt, and marketing with Reuters in London, Paris and Frankfurt. Chris is Co-Chair of the Global Education & Marketing Committee of FIX Protocol Ltd, a member of the Executive Committee of SIIA/FISD, and is Chair of the MiFID Joint Working Group.

Martin Sexton has over 15 years experience in the financial industry and is a founder of London Market Systems. He has been responsible for interface design and data feed developments at a number of large financial institutions, including Barclays Global Investors, Euronext.Liffe, Credit Suisse First Boston, Reuters, Cantor Fitzgerald International, among others. He is a member of the ISO 20022 Securities Standards Evaluation Group, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive Joint Working Groups and sits on the UK's Technical Standards Committee. He has contributed to the various MDDL related Working Groups and recently completed his first book, titled, "MDDL, the Quest for a Market Data Standard", which will be available at all good book shops in April 2007.

Prior to EuroMTS Limited, Mr Sharma was responsible for managing the operations and compliance for two broker-dealer firms trading multiple products across the world’s leading exchanges.

Tim TaylorTim Taylor
Lead Standards Specialist, S.W.I.F.T. SCRL

Tim Taylor is a Lead Standards Specialist in the SWIFT Standards Department based in London, having been with SWIFT since October 1999. He supported the successful migration of the London financial market from ISO 7775 to ISO 15022 message standards for securities: settlement, reconciliation and corporate actions. He continues to facilitate ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 market practice groups at national level; and at global level (SMPG) for corporate actions. Before joining SWIFT Tim spent five years working at CREST on the system build and its subsequent implementation.

In 1995 David established MDSL's US Company to serve the financial services market in New York and North America. As company President and Global Head of Sales, David He also manages the global sales team, directs all marketing campaigns, and oversees MDSL's operations in Asia. David has served as MDSL's principle liaison with FISD since 1996 David brings 31 years of experience in technology sales and executive management to his role at MDSL. Previously he served in a variety of globally focused executive roles at IBM, Practica Computers plc, Emulex Corp and Sintrom plc. In these roles, David established a network of partners in Europe, Asia, and the USA to promote technology sales.

In his current position as Director and Global Head of MDS Sourcing at UBS AG, Mark directs all global market data acquisition, strategic planning and vendor relationship management. Mark has over 20 years of experience leading market data organizations. Prior to his current position at UBS AG, he was a Partner and Vice President of Market Data Services at AIM Investments; an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston; Regional Manager of MDS - Perot Systems (UBS); and Director of Market Data Services at the Chicago Board of Trade. Mark is a past member of the Executive Committee of FISD.


Pierre WillemsPierre Willems

Pierre Willems has been working in securities services since 1989 when he joined JP Morgan in Paris. He held a number of roles in Operations including head of operations in Milan and global head of Multi Direct Clearing and Custody operations. Andrew Wakefield

Andrew "Ned" Wakefield joined Interactive Data (then Extel Statistical Services) in September 1982. He gained wide experience of processing corporate actions on Global equities (also bond and fund) markets, mainly concentrating on UK, Asia-Pacific and Australasia. Later, he moved on to take responsibility for training and quality assurance on corporate actions. Ned now oversees production of Interactive Data's ISO 15022 service and attends Market Data Provider User Group at SWIFT in London. He is also responsible for design of many of Interactive Data's bespoke corporate action customer feeds. Ned is a specialist in merger and acquisition data.
