Steve works closely with the supplier community, technology, supply chain, finance and compliance to deliver market data solutions that will increase the performance of his bank.
Craig Bradley
Managing Director, MicroRose Limited
Craig Bradley founded and heads the industry's largest group of auditors working for exchanges in verifying the monthly royalty reports sent to them by vendors and end user firms. MicroRose's principle business is auditing and it has conducted well over 600 audits for around 50 different Exchanges in the last ten years. In those years it has sought to minimise the impact of an audit by combining exchanges and having the most experienced and knowledgeable group of auditors in the industry. Craig has been in the market data industry for 16 years, working for a vendor and an exchange before his time at MicroRose.
Carlo Comporti
Deputy Secretary-General, Director for Markets, Committee of European Securities Regulator
Carlo Comporti graduated from the University of Siena with a Degree in Economics and Banking and a Doctorate in Banking and Securities Law. He joined the CONSOB in 1994, firstly in the Intermediaries Division and subsequently in the International Relations Office. He has been a member of expert groups in the field of securities regulation at the EU Council, IOSCO, OECD, CESR, including rapporteur of the CESR Experts Group on Investor Protection. He spent several months at the ECB working on a project in securities clearing and settlement, and one year at the European Commission as a national expert working on the revision of the investment services directive. He was appointed as Deputy to the Secretary General of CESR in 2003. He is a visiting professor of Commercial Law at the University of Siena and he has published numerous publications in the fields of securities and company law.
Kevin Houstoun
Global Transaction Messaging Consultant, HSBC and Co-Chair, FIX Protocol Global Technical Committee
Kevin represents HSBC on the FIX technical committee and is an advisor to the bank on cross asset class trading infrastructure project and the equities business helping develop HSBC's new generation trading infrastructure. Kevin Houstoun has been involved in FIX since the protocol was initiated in the mid 90's. Kevin has written a FIX engine that was used to promote the adoption of the protocol, co-authored the program trading messages that were added in FIX.4.2, co-authored the FIXML schema, which is the most widely adopted XML syntax in financial messaging, and wrote the FIX repository. Kevin currently leads the FIX Global Technical committee with Matt Simpson of the CME, the Repository & Web Services Working Groups and is involved in the Market Data Optimisation WG, managing the C# reference implementation.
Alan P. Jenkins

Alan Jenkins is at the forefront of the industry transformation now taking place in global Financial Markets Operations, Risk and IT. He joined BearingPoint in April 2005, and is the firm's European lead for MiFID, representing the firm at the MiFID Joint Working Group, as well as on the EDM Council. A frequent public speaker, he has previously worked both for participants and for service providers in the Financial Markets. As an independent consultant, Alan's roles included acting as CCP Programme Director for the virt-x exchange. Alan had rejoined the 'supply side' with Hoskyns in 1992, where he spearheaded all of that firm's CREST initiatives between 1993 - 2000, before becoming the European Lead in Straight Through Processing for the group, latterly known as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
Paul Kennedy

Paul Kennedy, VP, Product Management is responsible for GoldenSource's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) product suite. Based in the London office, Kennedy works closely with clients and prospects to enhance EDM solutions, ensuring that their development strategy remains abreast of the evolving market and regulatory needs. Kennedy's product management experience and strong development background is instrumental in leveraging awareness of GoldenSource's enterprise software solutions for improving information quality and efficiency and optimizing investments by reducing operational costs. Prior to joining GoldenSource, Kennedy spent 7 years with Reuters where his career spans various technology and content development roles, including Head of Content Integration where he was responsible for managing capacity constraints on Reuters Integrated Data Network. Also, as Head of Content & News, Product Management, Kennedy spearheaded various product development projects including data presentation for Reuters information products and ensuring the timely distribution and display of information. Kennedy began his career as a journalist where he worked for 10 years for several news agencies including Reuters and Knight-Ridder Financial.
Richard Kemp

Richard Kemp is one of the UK's leading technology and communications lawyers. He has particular experience of the legal aspects of market data, where clients he works with include exchanges, revendors, index calculators, financial institutions, software developers and service providers. Richard established Kemp Little LLP, the leading UK technology firm, in 1997 having previously been the first European IP/IT head of Andersen Legal. He was educated at Cambridge University and qualified as a solicitor with Clifford-Turner. Married with two teenage sons, Richard lives in south west London.
Simon Leighton-Porter

Simon Leighton-Porter joined Citigroup's Global Custody sales and account management team in 1998. In 2000 he transferred to the equities division of Citigroup Global Markets Limited where, as a Vice President within the global middle office, he was responsible for a number of STP initiatives designed to improve the firm's cross-border securities processing. He still works part-time for Citigroup and also runs his own consultancy business, VSA Financial Limited. He serves on a number of industry committees working on STP and reference data solutions and also represents FIX Protocol Limited as co-chairman of the Standard Protocols subject group within the MiFID Joint Working Group.
Chris Pickles

Chris is an international marketing manager who has worked for over 30 years in the financial technology industry. His previous jobs have included being secretary-general of the European Association of Securities Dealers in Brussels, Head of Exchange Products at Deutsche Boerse in Frankfurt, and marketing with Reuters in London, Paris and Frankfurt. Chris is Co-Chair of the Global Education & Marketing Committee of FIX Protocol Ltd, a member of the Executive Committee of SIIA/FISD, and is Chair of the MiFID Joint Working Group.

Theo Reijnders graduated from the University of Groningen in Business Economics. Joining Euronext in 2000 he was involved in several post acquisition projects across Euronext disciplines. He became Project & Policy Officer for the Euronext Information Services responsible for strategy and business development in 2002 followed by his recent appointment as Senior Manager Products extending his responsibilities with product management.

Stuart is responsible for co-ordination and completion of third party audits of Reuters, product compliance and controls over third party data on a global basis. With a finance and internal audit background, Stuart has over 10 years experience of market data within Reuters, from the audit side through to content acquisition and reporting. Currently based in London, Stuart was previously based in the USA for 5 years and prior to that in Asia and Europe.
Claus Thorball

Claus Thorball is heading the OMX Market Data department. OMX Market Data is responsible for all Information products from all OMX exchanges in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. The foremost challenge in 2006 is to integrate the different exchange information products to One Nordic Product offering and cooperate closely with customers to secure a successful implementation not only adding value to the business of the customers but the securities market as such. Claus jumped into the Market Data business in 2004 as Head of Market Data at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange which soon after in 2005 became a part of OMX. Prior to his market data career Claus has 4 years of customer and market experience from his position as Head of Member Relations at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Herbie Skeete

Herbie Skeete has over 25 years experience in the financial information industry. Formerly a senior Reuters executive, Herbie has detailed technical knowledge of data management and information delivery systems, data standards and the financial sector. He has become recognised globally as an expert on exchanges and content issues. Clare Vincent-Silk has worked in financial IT for 24 years and has been a consultant at Investit since April 2005. Prior to joining Investit, Clare's previous two positions have been Business Relationship Manager for the front office for Dresdner RCM and Morley Fund Management where she had the following roles: programme management, project management; IT strategy; system selection and implementation of applications which covered functionality from research to trade execution. Clare has previously had responsibility for market data services and has recently been an executive committee member of the market data user group, IPUG.

Andre Went

Andre Went graduated from the Erasmus, Rotterdam (Economics) in 1988. He joined Amsterdam Exchanges in 1989. After the merger with the Belgium and French exchanges in 2000 he became Group Policy Director based in Paris followed by his appointed of Director Strategy and Market Development in 2003. He was involved in several strategic projects such as the acquisition of LIFFE and the Portuguese exchange. Furthermore he is involved in several international working committees including the FESE and World Federation of Exchanges. As of 1 January 2005 he is responsible as Managing Director of the business unit Euronext Information Services and member of the Operational Committee of the Euronext Group.
