FISD is a global business forum for all segments of the market data industry. Members use FISD to build business relationships and address industry-wide issues associated with the worldwide flow of financial data.
Participants are responsible for their own strategic and commercial self-interests within FISD. Our role is to act as a neutral facilitator for the discussion and manager of the consensus agenda that emerges as a result.
Membership in FISD/SIIA is not for every organization. If market data business issues and the information requirements related to securities automation are only a minor part of your activities, the information published on the public access segment of our web site might be sufficient.
However, if you or your company have a stake in the outcome of the discussions outlined in this document -- and market data issues are integral to your product offerings -- then we're confident that your subscription is a worthwhile investment.
Only FISD/SIIA members:
- Establish and approve the FISD agenda. Members understand that it's often easier to be influential while issues are under discussion, rather than after decisions have been made.
- Get unrestricted access to FISD project materials. Projects and reference databases are driven by members and paid for by their dues. Reports on the web are merely summaries of the debates, the underlying information and full database functionality is only available to members.
- Leverage FISD and SIIA resources. FISD staff is available to members to dig into issues, evaluate reactions to specific proposals and find out the inside story on market data developments. We exist solely to serve the needs and interests of our membership.
At the end of the day, FISD members get a seat at the market data table, full access to FISD resources and consultation with SIIA staff. If these issues matter to you, join FISD/SIIA: Your Market Data Business Connection. To join our membership, please proceed to our dues and membership form.
